Consultative Meeting on the SADC Entrepreneurship Support Facility

Following the launch of the SADC Entrepreneurship meeting in April 2017 in Maseru, Lesotho, the 1st Regional Workshop and Advisory board meeting held in November 2017 in Port Louis, Mauritius and the first call of applications which closed in May 2018, IRENA together with SACREEE and the Government of Namibia convened to present the Entrepreneurship Support Facilit to representatives of the Ministries of Energy of the 16 SADC countries and to hold discussions of the Facility’s activities as well as the expected outcomes in the next two years. The meeting provided greater visibility to the Facility and to present relevant IRENA products that can contribute to its success.
