Just Transition Forum 2021: Energy and Jobs to Power the Future
The energy sector powers economies and sustains jobs. For the Paris Agreement goals to be met, a total transformation of the energy system is required.
What are the impacts to be expected? What needs to be done to harness the potential for sustainable job creation and economic growth? How can we deliver decent work and social justice in the energy transition?
To elaborate on these questions and forge solutions, ILO, IEA and IRENA, in cooperation with the UKCOP26 Presidency, convened the Just Transition Forum 2021: Energy and Jobs to Power the Future.
