With the support of IRENA, the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus is undertaking a Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) for Belarus.
As part of RRA process, this 2- days Expert Consultation Workshop on February 9 and February 10 will bring together renewable energy stakeholders of Belarus to discuss challenges and opportunities for the development of renewables in the country. The outcomes of the discussions will provide substantive inputs for the preparations of the RRA report.
The Workshop will include group discussions based on the key themes identified in the issues paper to ensure the effective collection of preliminary feedback from national stakeholders on possible priority actions to address the challenges, and to validate the findings of the issues paper with respect to the status of renewable energy development and energy transition in Belarus and key challenges hindering an accelerated deployment of variable renewable energies in the country.
This event is by invitation only. To learn more about the RRA Belarus, please write to Regions@irena.org.
