Renewable Energy Prospects for Central and South Eastern Europe Energy Connectivity (CESEC) Report from IRENA offers a full energy system perspective, examining impacts on energy costs, investment plans, supply security and fossil-fuel consumption, along with, climate, the environment and people's health. The study assesses the potential for renewable energy deployment in the CESEC region by 2030. The full report can be accessed here.
In this workshop, IRENA will present the key findings of the CESEC REmap study relevant to Albania. The presentation will be followed by a discussion on the challenges and opportunities that renewables bring to Albania and on raising ambition for renewables in the country in the context of the NECP and NDC.
Meeting will take place on January 26, 2021 13.00-14.30 CET on Zoom platform, this is a closed meeting by Invitation only.
