The webinar will feature presentations of key findings from each report, as well as insight from multi-actors experts on the progress, challenges, mechanisms, and potential benefits of the above two SIDS energy transition contexts accelerating renewable energy scale up.

This two-day multi-stakeholder meeting gathered national stakeholders representing the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), development partners, IFI’s, private sector, non-governmental organizations, universities, and research institutions.

From 2 - 6 September, IRENA will take part in two international events in Bangkok: The ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) and the UN's Asia-Pacific Climate Week.
