grid-connected (Table 8.3) and off-grid electrolysers (Table 8.4). For example, the innovations in
the smart hydrogen production kit ensure that the power sector sends the right signals for smart
electrolyser operation and market creation, and that planning for electrolyser locations accounts for
the impacts of new demand on electricity generation and transmission, and assesses the potential
use of hydrogen storage.
